I love comics. This is what this blog is about.
Today I'd like to discuss gay-related comics. If you're not interested, you can stop reading now. ;-)

Just a quick note: I'm not gay myself but I keep being fascinated by the subject. Our sexuality is part of our identity, obviously, and questioning it is a proof of sanity for me.

Anyway, here are two excellent reads I'd recommend:

The soft, gentle, subtle (very Japanese, that) "Love My Life" by Ebine Yamaji. I read it in French.
Then the crazy and out-going "Locas" by Jaime Hernandez. Muy Latino and, yes, loco.

I liked both styles. Funny that both deal with gay women, but one is told by a gay woman/author, the other by a guy.

Mutts

Believe it or not, I just discovered a great webcomics, namely "Mutts"!!! It may be a classic in america, but a hard to find reference for me out there in France! That was thanks to [info]tigerfemme  here on LJ. Thanks!

I wanted to make a link to "unrendered"'s LJ, but I don't mean to write here much. After all, I already have a blog elsewhere. ;-) 

We'll see. maybe this will be my "I love webcommics" blog.

speaking of which, i'm reading the "Nana" manga series right now. Translated into French.
